Review by hotel critic
During my recent city trip to Shanghai, I had the pleasure of staying at the Yangtze Boutique Shanghai, an enchanting Art Deco gem that seamlessly combines the charm of historic Shanghai with modern conveniences. The hotel's location is unbeatable, just a stone's throw from Nanjing Road and People's Square, making it a hub for dining and shopping-perfect for my travel-loving spirit that seeks vibrant city life. The welcoming staff, who genuinely seemed to care about our comfort, made my partner and me feel at home, with special kudos to Mr Ray for expertly troubleshooting a minor issue with our in-room safe. Our room was a true sanctuary, equipped with premium bedding and thoughtful amenities like a DVD Player and iPod docking station, allowing for relaxed evenings after a day of exploration. We truly relished the hotel's lovely cafés for gourmet coffee and indulgent pastries, while the historical ballroom and serene spa offered a welcome respite from the city's hustle and bustle. This hotel is a perfect retreat for those of us who seek not only comfort but also a connection to the rich tapestry of Shanghai's past and present. I would absolutely return-it's a must for anyone visiting this vibrant city!
